Feb 11 2009	"I can do" Assessment On this half day course at the Elmhurst Centre in Street various handouts were made available to you. Here they are electronically just in case you would like to use/adapt any for your own use.

Jun 3 2009	MFL Co-ordinators Follow-up Day I have now added the ISA templates, the ideas for the "Quand la vie est" poem that you came up with....even the original poem by Jacques Prevert is here!!....and the various handouts in case you want to use them again at any staff meetings you may run. This event will include training on the "New Literacy" - linking MFL/EAL and Literacy.

Jul 1 2009	Mind the Gap! I have put all the handouts from the day here now - and more besides, that came from the Transition Conference in April, just in case you might find them useful. deb has typed up the ideas re Learner Voice and that is here too. IF you use anything from the day then it would be really good to hear from you as to how you have used it in your own situation.

Jul 9 2009	Through the Looking Glass You will find the very user friendly sheet with info about the Tour de France 2009 and some straightforward activities....all in French and great for upper KS2.

Sep 15 2009	The same course will also run at a different venue on 16 Sept. Early Start 1 & LCP 1 - Level 1 training Do bring your memory stick with you - just in case there is something too large to go on this site that you would like to take away with you.

Sep 29 2009	Ins & outs of the French Language Liz Osgood is going to do a re-run of this very well received event. It is an intensive day of language work, designed for those who are "rusty" with their French.

Sep 30 2009	New MFL Co-ordinators Day This is a day for those who are completely new to the role of MFL co-ordinator and did not attend this event in September 2008.

Oct 6 2009	Storytelling & Songs The popular storytelling course will run again in October - the flier appears as the last document!!

Oct 7 2009	Take 10! twilight - Elmhurst Centre, Street. Come along and find out how to make best use of this wonderful resource. You will take away a free copy in either French or Spanish for your school.

Oct 20 2009	Kingsmead Training Event This event is a basic training day, run by Kingsmead Language College, Wiveliscombe.

Nov 10 2009	MFL Co-ordinators Update This is the first of 3 Updates that will run during the year. These will be KEY events and will include new training on various areas from the Framework to ensure you can lead the way in your school.

Nov 17 2009	"Touchy, Feely": Bringing IU alive! We shall be at Resources for LEarning in Bridgwater, with Mary L'Anson from GLADE and KAren Horsfield from R4L. Mary will be bringing artefacts from both French and spanish speaking countries, and Karen will be shawing us some of the new IU books that are now available for loan.

Nov 25 2009	Chinese New Year Twilight held in Taunton at Wellsprings Primary School to explore ways of celebrating Chinese New Year and how "Dragons in Europe" can support this in school free of charge!
