Story, DVD and audio resources for KS1 and KS2.

This is a complete listing of French story books suitable for use with KS1 or KS2, together with authors and in some cases, ISBN numbers.  You will find suppliers names and contact details or web sites here too.  Please bear in mind that some of the story packs are available on loan from Resources for Learning in Bridgwater as Red star boxes.

Many of the books form part of the Somerset Primary MFL Resource collection and can be viewed at events.

Literacy - looking at different sorts of texts and the European Picture Book Collection

There are now 10 titles from this wonderful collection held at Resources for Learning, for you to borrow.  The stories come from:

Austria; Belgium; Denmark; England; France; Germany: Holland: Ireland; Luxembourg; Wales.

These are great books to use when looking at different sorts of text types in Literacy.

There is a booklet of notes to accompany the resources ...or you can simply download the notes for the individual books.  The notes give very clear guidance and ideas on how you might exploit each text - together with a working translation in English.
